ARTHUR ADAIR
THE DRAGON SPARK
I like to think of myself as a simple man. I want to do good things, and have fun adventures. When I see monsters I step in and fight them. When I see evil I try to bring some good. When I see bad men hurting innocents, I step in. I try not to overthink it all, I simply act, because too few do.Back home I trained to become a knight, a hero that would protect the people. Being a knight wasn't simple, in fact it was quite complicated. I was expected to swear oaths, and staunchly stick to my duty. Even when my duty stopped me from standing against bad men, even when my duty meant turning a blind eye to the crimes of my fellow knights.I wasn't able to turn a blind eye, I simply acted. Then I acted again, and again, and again. I made allies with others who would act to protect the powerless. I made enemies with the people who I was meant to swear oaths to. Then I was a knight no longer.I left my home and found a new path. A path of adventure. On this path I continue to act, and I continue to help those in need. It isn't always easy because this is not a simple world, and I am but a simple man.
- Arthur is the adopted son of a small noble house in Ishgard, House Adair.
- Most of his youth was spent in the Brume aiding the poor, and fighting any who might harm them.
- Arthur trained with the Ishgardian Knights along with his sister Alecto. Both were selected to train as Dragoons
- He has aether infused tattoos on his chest and back. Those sensitive to it may recognize draconic aether in the ink
- Though he's far from famous, Arthur has made a reputation as a bit of a folk hero in various parts of Eorzea. He has roamed the land stepping into various adventures and helping people out.
- He has a bad habit of giving away all his gil and even his clothes to the needy of the Star. It is all too common to find him literally giving up the shirt on his back to a cold street urchin. As a result he rarely has gil.
